The New Myvi..... lagi bes? -.-

So .... the new Perodua Myvi ..... lagi bes? .... only Malaysians who has not driven other cars or just suck at evaluating car quality or just suck in life would say "lagi bes" .... it means "better" in an informal slang combined with an english word which is "best" ... ok whatever.. im not here to talk about language and society. here it is... the new Myvi... behold! *drum roll* ........... nah forget the drum roll -.-

k.. first impression? its hideous.... no love at first sight .. not even a "like" ... i have to look at this car again and again to convince myself that is looks good. i dont find the front part so attractive .. the rear is fine. about styling, i still think that the previous myvi especially the SE model looks much better and bigger.

so when i stepped inside, it was all ok ... the seating position is absolutely fine with me. everything looks clear except the rear view mirror and/or the rear windscreen. the reflection on the rear view mirror is weird. idk which to blame. mirrors are supposed to reflect anything and form an image EXACTLY the same as the object and not alter them. coz when i looked at it, the guy sitting directly behind the car looked like he was being warped into another dimension. it was like looking through a fish bowl. well its not that bad, but you get the picture. the rear windscreen is really small so it reduces confidence in estimating distance like when reversing.

seating. no problems with the front seats. i didnt adjust the seats coz i dare not to coz it was a new car on display so id rather not "change" anything ... however, i did twiddle a bit with the buttons to see how they feel.. back to seating, i hopped on to the rear seats. no problems with leg room and head room but somehow they were not very relaxing. if im on a long distance trip with my friend sitting at the back, i might have a backache when i get out of the car coz i have to sit up straight all the way with just a very slight slant to the back. that is how the rear seat feels. comfy, but not so relaxing. my Proton Saga FL's rear seats are much more comfy compared to this myvi. ok maybe i shouldn't compare a sedan with a compact? ... maybe ...

not done with interior. the dashboard seemed fine but cheap. the buttons and knobs felt lose and i cant believe that i find it difficult to turn the air-cond blower variant knob. i came up with that term ... xD ya know? the one u turn or slide to choose where you want the air-cond to blow? top only/top and feet/feet only/ .... yeah that one... it was DIFFICULT and i couldn't understand where the pointer was pointing at when it stops at a point to select a mode... it was like, in between 2 modes (between blowing to "top only" and "top and feet" .. and somewhere between there even) ... confusing. other knobs were just plain simple.. they did not bring up the classy feel of a new and high quality car.. instead the buttons and knobs tried to convey a message that they are cheap but being sold at a price that average people would need to think twice before making a purchase.
the only nice thing about the interior is the steering. it was smooth all around and nice to hold..

now move on to driving .... (data not available) .... oh right .. sorry .. i didnt drive it.. i couldn't even if i want to ... coz i was there only for a short time checking out this car and there were no test drive sessions.  so maybe next time ... do you find this intriguing till it makes you want to check out for yourself? no? its ok.. im not surprised.. im not a professional car reviewer.. im just an enthusiast like many of you out there.
the best way to decide if that car is really yours is to see it for yourself. check them thoroughly and survey other cars too in your chosen car category.

SB Tae Kwon Do Annual Camping 2011

owkeyh ... im not so fresh .. i got up late from sleep .. 

so .. i guess i'll cut the chase and get to the point ..

so as u can see what the title says, im gona type about what has happened 

from 3rd - 5th June .. the duration of the entire camp ... 

ok shall i conclude at the beginning? yea i know that its uncommon but

i'll do it anyway ... do you care? of course you dont .. shut up and read..

i gotta say that it was very enjoyable .. the activities held there were mostly

different than the other camps .. some of the games were played

in all camps as they are really fun .. and im used to them so  there

was no problem playing ... also i have to say that it was the most tiring tae kwon do camp

that iv ever been to .. coz our activities were really packed and the guys had

to do a lot of heavy work .. well not like cheap labor, but u know .. the

guys had to do more stuffs than the girls... pffft ... fair enough -.- 

alright lets move on .. so on the first day we were

separated into 4 groups ... each group had 8 people except for one group it had 7..

our group names were chosen based on legendary creatures ...

they were Phoenix, Basilisk, Dragon and my team was Cerberus ..

now, many people did not know what the heck is a Cerberus -.- 

in Greek mythology, a Cerberus is three headed monster that guards

the gate of The Underworld ... wana look? here it is:

yeah ... scary aint it? .... EXACTLY ...... 

its MEAN ... its MERCILESS ...its HEARTLESS ... it knows NO PAIN .. it knows NO FEAR ..

it KILLS ANYONE or ANYTHING that stands in its way .. and its MASSIVE ... 

its teeth will chew off metal like butter! its claws can bore holes deeper than any man can!

its muscles can rip a building apart! and its breath is just ..!! awful -.-

ok enough of that ... so i hope you get the idea of why we chose this creature's name for

our team name... k uh ... so lets move on... after that we were given some mahjong

paper and markers to draw our group logo for presentation ... 

honestly, in EVERY camp i go, this is the most irritating and the most

annoying activity that i find .. i just hate it -.- but it has to be done ..

then later we started our activity ... some fun games .. i aint gona tell all of em..

maybe some ... like first, we had to carry water in our hands and walk to 

the other side a few meters away to fill in a bottle provided for each team ..

we were leading first and the joy was exciting coz we prevailed our first

victory ... but in the end we got overall 3rd place on the last day ...

it sucked, but it didnt matter so much .. though i was really expecting

us to win ... i cant blame my team members ... coz some of them were not so involving..

they dozed off many times .. didnt pay much attention ... didnt wana

involve in a lot of things ... like giving ideas and volunteering for stuffs ..

so .. its normal, but it was a bit disappointing .. its ok.. the past is the past ...

btw, just letting you know that i was the leader for my team ... 

so moving on .. em.. u know what? lets skip the first day...

coz i dont remember much ... lets move on to my favorite activity..

ok first, the one i loved so much was the night walk...

oh no no no... i know what ur thinking...

we go out at night and take some fresh air walking together with buddies...

eyh? no no.... normally we walk through VERY dark areas with torchlight in a group..

or we walk inside a jungle.. but that time, no jungle...

we walked in a swamp!! yes! a freakin swamp! woah it awesome..

the inner part of the swamp was quite thick and the mud was

up to our knees ... yea so it was quite difficult to walk but we all made

it through ... sory i cant put any pictures.. my camera aint water proof...

and it was at night ... no infrared either ... iv put up other

pics on facebook... find em if you want ... 

oh yeah.. continue about the swamp... ok so after walking for about

10-15 mins more or so, we reached a beach .. it was low-tide ...

and guess what? there was NOTHING .... really...

only sand and some sea water and the swamp in the background..

BUT .... on the far side, we saw Indonesia... like, a 1 hour 30 mins walk

and we'll reach Indonesia .... seriously ... and also we saw port Klang in the

far distance... so it was awesome... then when we came back

we went to sleep ... with mosquitoes as our company ...

oh yeah my second favorite activity was kayaking .. iv had experience

in kayaking so i enjoyed it .. im sorry to say that i find it rather amusing

to watch other people suffering to row the right way .. xD

but u know.. i dont care ... as long as i enjoyed it ... and im sure most of us did..

what about flying fox? yeah it was too normal for me...

iv tried a few flying fox run at other camps and all of them were much longer and higher

than this camp ... i did enjoy it, though it felt normal... not very exciting..

 tired of reading? yea im tired of typing ... and i dont know what else i wana say ...

so i guess i'll stop here ... oh yeah! one more thing.... 

 on the last day, em.. well actually, on the last day at 12.01 a.m..

so yeah it was a sunday and it was the last day ... 

when we were all doing some activity, (we had to lift a loooooong bamboo 

with strings) , it started drizzling.. so everyone was quite

pissed off waiting for their turn coz they were tired and bored at the same time..

so everyone decided to sleep instead... the thing is, the rain fell heavier ...

and heavier.. and heavier... until the tent that we were in

was leaking ALL OVER and there was NO WAY for us to sleep there...

we had to carry our heavy bags all the way to the hall where we gather

for any briefing, in the rain ... some of them had to run up and down thrice

coz their stuffs were scattered all over ... and we slept

at the hall ...

 i'll tell you, that it was a disaster .. many of our stuffs

got wet and we had to throw away a few things ...

like me, i had to discard two of my track pants and my ugly school shoes..

coz they were soaking wet when i checked in the morning

and they were too much of a burden... also, two of my jeans got wet

too -.- like, damn ... but i brought them home.. no way i was gona leave them behind.. ok ... so thts all..

yea.. i kinda just woke up bout an hour ago. NO i did not sleep THAT long.

i just had a short nap from bout 6.15 pm.. alarm went off at 7.30 pm. 

but i extended a lil to 8.00 pm. do you care? no? neither do i...

so uh... oh man i havent updated this thing for a century.

when i logged in here i found a pile of dust. and a fly.

and it was dark. full of spider webs. 

well.... literally.. lets not be stoopid..

anyway.. thanks to my friend Rabiatul Aqillah who reminded me

to update this thang.. if it wasnt for her, i wouldn't be here

for another century. and more spidey webs would build up. thanks girl! :D 

hmmm... so uh.. you wana know what iv been up to?? :D REALLY???

i know u dont care but im gona tell anyway -.-

uhm... where to start ... ok .... so uh.... a lot that has been done...

for starters, i joined back tae kwon do bout 2 months ago...

and boy iv never felt happier. i got back my flexibility and speed.

well, i still cant do a complete 180 split, but at least i can stretch better than before.

and now im in pain... coz of yesterdays training.. but thats cool.

so thats the training part.. outside activities? yea two of em.. both

were tournaments. i thought of attending as a referee but i asked a bit too late.

places were full. so i only went to both tournaments as a coach.. i handled 

our team players' sparring bouts and gears and also lead them to the ring

until their match was done. and iv gotta tell  you,

it was seriously tiring and boring coz we had to run up and down and from

east to west to look for players and tell them stuffs... related to their matches.

and uh.. i think thts all about TKD for now..

so what about the other parts of my life? education?

money? games? fitness? whatever? 

hmm... i aint gona tell ALL of em.... u might be interested in one or two

but i still aint telling anything. i know which one you are probably most interested in.

yeah.. i still aint telling... coz right now, my mind is a lil screwed about it..

coz i did sumthing in a hurry that it made me pay a price i dont deserve to.

im trying to sort that out. because the burden is not only on me,

its on my parents too. if you REALLY wana know, i'll just say that

its related to my future. have any lucky guesses? keep them in ur head coz you'll never

know what im talking about. do me a favor? forget it.

now, there is ONE thing that im currently so damn freakin interested about.

do you like technology? do you admire it?

do you appreciate the efforts of our trained and professional 

engineers all over the world spending countless hours on research and development 

of fancy gadgets, electrical appliances, buildings and transportations

to make our daily lives better and more interesting? i bet some of you dont.

and when we are curious, we want to know about it.

therefore we do a lot of research.. for the determined ones..

or to whatever they were doing. so i do that too, but then i get back again to

my curiosity. so im a man of cars ..... no no.. i dont own a lot of cars..

i mean like cars... i love cars... u gotta suck not to love cars...

seriously... if you dont, go and die... 

so if you love cars, you wana know more about em.. just like

how you wana get to know ur freakin girlfriend. what does she like to eat,

where does she live, what time she goes to bed,

her ID number, her shirt size, the way she walks,

whats hiding in her purse and STOP....... u get the point...

well in cars, of course u wana know the fuel consumption, the safety features and

many other stuffs... but do you ever wonder, how on earth do they move?

ok yeah, its because of the engine, but dont "duh" just yet..

do you know how power is transferred to the wheels from the engine?

uhuh.. u dont.. coz u suck.. if you do, ur awesome.. if ur getting to know, ur even more awesome

and im getting to know... holy crap there are sooo many things that i discovered during my research.

i dont scrutinize a car's engine, coz then i wouldn't know what the heck am i looking at

and what those parts do.. all research is done via internet.

and the value of information? BIG money and power ... or even priceless..

im gona indulge into this and hope to understand cars better and treat them better than before.

so yea.. get to know ur freakin girlfriends and boyfriends and treat them better..

Close call............ seriously...

ok i am supposed to write on wednesday.... today is friday.... who cares... i was tired... so.. i'll cut the crap..
ok so it was a very cool morning (btw this thing happened on wednesday) coz it was raining.. it was quiet and calm.. everybody minded their own damn business not caring about the world or anything else but themselves.. aaaand my perfume just fell at the back of my laptop -.- .. lemme get it.. hang on................. k got it.. anyway.. uh... so yeah.. i .. wait......... NO!!! this thing did NOT happen on wednesday, it happened on TUESDAY... ok?? remember twas tuesday.. forget whatever i said at the beginning it was tuesday.. so yeah.. ok? so i had class at 8.00 am and i left a lil late.. im supposed to leave the house by 7 or else there could be a chance of me getting caught in a traffic jam and coming late for class... and i left more than 7 on that day.. it was raining... rain was quite heavy... tired of reading? then dont read. who told you to read anyway? .... ok then, well. basically, when u look at the title of this post, u will want something exciting... right? well what ur about to read may not be as exciting as me and Stallone destroyed an army village.. so i was driving at bout 60km/h (mph? convert it urself).. and then i reached a point where i have to drive on the third lane.. coz eventually i will have to switch to the third lane or else i will go somewhere else and get lost and never going for class and cant find my way home and die....................... ok.. since i left late, as expected, traffic jam.. (still driving! 60km/h) but it was raining, and it was dark.. a lil dark... darker than usual... the lane that i was driving currently at that time was the second lane... on that lane, there werent many cars in front of me.. so i kept on driving without slowing down.. i ALWAYS indicate before i turn or switch lanes... and i did.. so i put the right signal and carefully switched to the third... AHAH!! wait right there.... my car, (originally its a Daihatsu Mira.. im driving the re-badged version) it doesnt have ABS (anti-lock braking system)... so when i switched to the third lane, all of a sudden, a freakin car appeared right in front of me! i swear i did not see him at all... first i applied the brakes slowly, didnt work, slightly harder, worked but not enough, then full brakes and the tires locked! and the car skidded to the front.. i was like... ********!!! took a deep breath and released... i was just inches away from the car in front!! good thing i managed to stop... like, feeeeeeeeewh... ok maybe u might have gone through something much more worse than this? but i dont care.. thats ur life... this is my life and my blog so i'll post watever the shit i want.. got it? so.... for other drivers, please.... be freakin careful when driving during rainy days... if u have a sophisticated, state-or-the-art technology type of car, you probably dont have to worry so much.. so uh.. i guess thats enough... im sleepy... so... have a good day :D
